Draw Your Own Steam Engines: Step-by-Step Diagram Sheets
Draw ten steam machines yourself, from Hero’s spinning steam ball to Parsons’ turbine. Each sheet has our own simplified diagram to copy, numbered steps, a dotted practice area and a short, fact-checked note on how that part of steam history worked.
What’s inside:
- How to use the sheets (tools and tips)
- Ten step-by-step diagram sheets, each with our own simplified diagram, numbered steps, a dotted practice area and a short fact-checked note: Hero’s steam ball, Newcomen’s engine, Watt’s separate condenser, a double-acting engine, the slide valve, the crank, the sun-and-planet gear, the centrifugal governor, two kinds of boiler and the steam turbine

Pages: 13 (including cover and credits). Sizes: A4 (210 × 297 mm) and US Letter (8.5 × 11 in), both PDFs included in one zip.
Printing: Print at 100% / actual size on A4 or US Letter, so nothing gets squashed. Inside pages use light backgrounds and print well in black and white; covers are dark, so start from page 2 to save ink.
Every fact is checked against Encyclopaedia Britannica, NASA Glenn Research Center and the Science Museum Group (checked 31 Oct 2026), and the sources are listed on each pack’s credits page.
