Printing: Print at 100% / actual size on A4 or US Letter. Inside pages use light backgrounds and print well in black and white; covers are dark, so start from page 2 to save ink.

Every fact is checked against named source pages (including Butterfly Conservation, Manx Wildlife Trust, the Natural History Museum, the Oxford University Museum of Natural History, Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, the US Forest Service, Britannica, the University of York and peer-reviewed research; checked 30 Oct 2026), and the sources are listed on each pack’s credits page. Facts that can change, such as species counts, trends and records, are printed with that date. Where sources give different figures, both are shown with their source.
