Junior Jet Engineers Activity Pack
An A320neo activity pack for junior jet engineers aged 8 to 12: two colouring pages, label the jet, a crossword where every answer is a real fact, a type-code codebreaker, spot the difference, a fan-measuring challenge, a certificate and an answer key for grown-ups.
What’s inside:
- Meet the A320neo, with Useless the eraser
- Two colouring pages (side view and from above)
- Label the jet
- The A320neo crossword
- Codebreaker: flight-tracker codes and secret messages
- Spot the difference
- Engineer’s challenge: measure the engine fans
- Junior Jet Engineer certificate
- Answer key for grown-ups
Pages: 13 (including cover and credits). Sizes: A4 (210 × 297 mm) and US Letter (8.5 × 11 in), both PDFs included in one zip.
Printing: Print at 100% / actual size on A4 or US Letter. Inside pages use light backgrounds and print well in black and white; covers are dark, so start from page 2 to save ink. The fan-measuring challenge only works when printed at 100%.
Every fact is checked against named source pages from Airbus, EASA, the FAA, CFM International and Pratt & Whitney (checked 29 Oct 2026), and the sources are listed on the pack’s credits page. Figures that can change, such as the engine makers’ fan sizes, are printed with that date.
There are no photos in this pack: all drawings, puzzles and layouts are REALLYBYTE’s own work. Aircraft drawings are generic and unbranded, not scale plans, with no manufacturer or airline logos, liveries or markings. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Airbus or any airline, nor by CFM International, Pratt & Whitney, EASA or the FAA. Airbus, A320, A320neo, A321XLR, Sharklet, Airspace, LEAP, GTF and other names are used only to identify the aircraft, engines and organisations discussed.
