Pages: 14 (including cover and credits). Sizes: A4 (210 × 297 mm) and US Letter (8.5 × 11 in), both included as PDF.

Who it’s for: Ages 6–12 · families, schools, beach and nature groups · KS1–KS2 science (living things and habitats).

Printing: Print at 100% / actual size on A4 or US Letter. Inside pages use light backgrounds and print well in black and white; covers are dark, so start from page 2 to save ink.

The egg-case ruler is accurate only when printed at 100% / actual size. Coastal activities are marked for doing with an adult.

Every fact is checked against named sources (mostly referenced Wikipedia articles, plus the Shark Trust, the International Shark Attack File, Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch, Manx Wildlife Trust and the journal Nature) and listed on the credits page. Photos are public domain (mostly NOAA) or CC0, from Wikimedia Commons; drawings are REALLYBYTE’s own artwork.

Licence: personal and single-classroom use. You may print as many copies as you need for your own family or your own class, and share it with your class through a password-protected platform.
