Where the Welsh comes from: every Welsh word and phrase was copied from BBC Cymru’s list of Welsh phrases, BBC Wales learner pages, Visit Wales, Geiriadur Prifysgol Cymru (the University of Wales dictionary of the Welsh language) or, for place names, the Welsh Language Commissioner’s list of Standard Welsh Place-names, checked on 31 October 2026. The sources are listed on each pack’s credits page, and words we could not find in them were left out. Where a source marks a phrase as North or South, or formal or informal, we say so. We don’t invent English-letter sound guides: we point you to the Learn Welsh website (learnwelsh.cymru), which offers a free Welsh taster course. Drawings, puzzles and layouts are REALLYBYTE’s own work. welsh.languages.im and REALLYBYTE are independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the BBC, Visit Wales, the University of Wales, the Welsh Language Commissioner, Learn Welsh or any government body.
