Twelve double-sided Mars mission cards for ages 7+, from Mariner 4’s 1965 flyby to Perseverance and Ingenuity, with real NASA photos on the front, checked facts on the back, a timeline game and a mission quiz.

What’s inside:

• How to print and play (timeline game and mission quiz)
• - 12 double-sided mission cards: Mariner 4, Viking 1, Viking 2, Pathfinder & Sojourner, Mars Global Surveyor, Mars Express, Spirit & Opportunity, Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, Curiosity, Perseverance, Ingenuity, Humans to Mars
• - Timeline mat with answer
• - Credits, licence & sources

Pages: 8 (including cover and credits). Sizes: A4 (210 × 297 mm) and US Letter (8.5 × 11 in), both PDFs included in one zip.

Printing: Print at 100% / actual size on A4 or US Letter. Inside pages use light backgrounds and print well in black and white; covers are dark, so start from page 2 to save ink. Cards: print double-sided, flipping on the long edge, on thin card.

Every fact is checked against NASA and ESA web pages (checked 25 Oct 2026) and the sources are listed on each pack’s credits page. Facts that can change, such as records and mission counts, are true as of that date. Photos are public domain NASA images (with partners named), from Wikimedia Commons; drawings, puzzles and layouts are REALLYBYTE’s own work. Not endorsed by NASA or ESA.
