Where the Cornish comes from: every Cornish word and phrase was copied from Cornwall Council’s list of 20 Cornish words and phrases, the Akademi Kernewek dictionary (Gerlyver Kernewek) or, for place names, the Akademi Kernewek place-name list, checked on 31 October 2026. The sources are listed on each pack’s credits page, and words we could not find in them were left out. Spellings are in the Standard Written Form; where the dictionary gives two forms, marked M and L, we use the M form. We don’t invent English-letter sound guides: we point you to the Go Cornish phrase books, which have audio.
