Pages: 14 (including cover and credits). Sizes: A4 (210 × 297 mm) and US Letter (8.5 × 11 in), both PDFs included in one zip.
Printing: Print at 100% / actual size on A4 or US Letter. Inside pages use light backgrounds and print well in black and white; covers are dark, so start from page 2 to save ink.
Every statement is labelled History (what records, historians, museums and heritage bodies show), Literature (what a named old text, poem, saga or book says) or Tradition (beliefs, customs and local stories), and checked against named sources (including Nennius’s History of the Britons, the Golden Legend, William Henderson’s folklore notes of 1879, Beowulf, the Story of the Volsungs, the Younger Edda, E. T. C. Werner’s Myths and Legends of China and A. C. Fox-Davies’s Complete Guide to Heraldry, together with Museum Wales, Visit Wales, English Heritage, the National Trust, the Church of England, Manx National Heritage, Hansard and Britannica; checked 31 Oct 2026). The sources are listed on each pack’s credits page. The stories are retold in our own words; the pictures are public domain or CC0 drawings, paintings, prints and photos via Wikimedia Commons.
